Rachel
Rachel is a licensed esthetician and our waxing queen at Supple Skincare. She does it all! She offers fully body waxing, facials, brow lamination, Dermaplaning, microcurrent, oxygen therapy and do much more. Rachel strives to create a relaxing + educational experience for her clients. “My goal is to make each guest feel their best inside + out.”
Emjay
In 2019, she attended the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology and after she became a licensed Esthetician, she also received a certification as an eyelash technician! She also trained with Oncology Spa Solutions, whose aim is to help salon professionals gain necessary skills to meet the unique needs of clients undergoing cancer treatment, as well as cancer survivors.
You will find Emjay to be unfailingly friendly, knowledgable and fun. “My mission is to guide each client towards their skin goals while maintaining a tender internal monologue. We can love ourselves through anything, because the real healing belongs within the journey, not the destination.”
Courtney
Courtney graduated from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. She is Certified through CAMTC and she is also a member of AMTA. She continues to expand her knowledge and experience by attending classes + workshops to enhance her skills + to better serve her clients.
She believe’s everyone can benefit from massage! “It is my mission to intuitively customize each session to achieve my clients goals + to help facilitate healing to the individual as a whole. What is LED Light Therapy?
LED Light Therapy is a pain free, non-invasive, soothing + rejuvenating skin treatment. Delivered by light emitting diodes, LED was originally developed by NASA as a way to heal wounds + stimulate plant growth in space.
Light therapy works like photosynthesis, the process by which plants absorb light from the sun + converts it to energy. How do you treat Acne?
Not all acne is the same, so we will treat yours with focus on you + your particular skin condition. We will begin with a thorough examination of your skin, discuss your acne history , your current acne regimen, diet + lifestyle. Treating acne successfully requires consistent treatment with careful observation from a trained professional in conjunction with recommended at home care.

What is gua sha?
Gua Sha is a traditional healing technique from China. We use a Rose Quartz Gua Sha tools, which are smooth hand held paddles that gently massage facial facia muscles + stimulate energy points. This massage technique encourages healthy circulation, lymphatic drainage + releases muscle tension. The skin looks brighter, healthier, less puffy + more lifted.
Not recommended for areas of the face that have been treated with Botox or Fillers

The RYSE Youth Center in Richmond, CA is a youth center that creates safe spaces grounded in social justice for young people to love, learn, educate, heal + transform lives + communities. In everything they do, they work to ensure RYSE remains a consistent sanctuary of safety, compassion + justice for all youth.
Their programs are designed to provide youth with tools to build a better city. They envision a movement led by young people that ensures dignity for youth, their families + communities. Youth Organzing, Community Health, Media, Arts + Culture, Education + Justice are model programs that are respected across the country.
Supple made a commitment to support RYSE by donating 100% of the profits from our MASK PROJECT in 2020. We are sewed facial masks + sold them at Supple. We reached our goal of donating $5,000 to RYSE.

Everything begins with education + Albany schools are very important to us as we are a part of the Albany community! A.E.F. supports the children, teachers + schools in our community. Established more than 20 years ago by Sally Outis, this nonprofit organization continues it’s dedication to maintaining the quality of Albany’s Schools, making them even stronger by providing additional resources for programs + classrooms
